Timer

Jonas Björkert 10 years ago updated 10 years ago 4
Hi,

Would be great if you could add a timer functionality, this is missing in telldus live AFAK. What I want is to trigger on when a device turns on, wait for a timer (like 30 minutes) and turn it off.

Event to deactivate a schedule

mhritter 9 years ago 0
Hi, my scheduls works till 10.00 p.a. Several lights turn on and off at different times.
Sometimes I come home earlier and would like to stop the scheduler automatically. For Example, I would like to realize this by an motion detector. Coming home in my garage (or anteroom) the motion detector should stop the outstanding actions of the schedulers by deactivating the appropriate schedule. Now I have to turn off the several lights manually 3 or 4 times - untill the end of the schedul (10:00 p.a.) is reached. Can anybody help me to realize this. Thanks Michael

Possibility to get alerts depending on device status.

Hi,

first of all I'd like to thank you for your great service and I think this is a very good service that provides a lot of important functions.

I wonder if it is possible to add funcionality to send email if for example a trigger is turned on/off (my door is opened). For now I think it's only possible to get email from sensors.

I among a lot of other users ("I think") here are willing to pay a fee for using your service since I know there are some costs and not at least a lot of time your are spending to keep this site up and running.

Events

Triggers + Conditions = Action

Triggers:
  • Device state
  • Sensor value
  • Time
  • Sunset
  • Calendar
  • Time Counter
  • Receive http commands from devices & applications (i.e. my Onkyo receiver listens and transmits trough a port and network protocol different commands, which could be associated as triggers in Tellmon Events, if it could decode that implemented protocol; XBMC or mobile XBMC apps such Yatse can send commands which could be 'listened' by Tellmon on a dedicated port, etc, etc; Open Remote does such things, but they don't support Telldus Sticks...)
Conditions:
  • Same as triggers
  • Boolean conditions
Action (with configurable delay time):
  • Triggering devices
  • Send http commands & trigger 3rd party devices or applications (i.e. control smart tv's, control network reveivers, control alarm systems, control IP cameras, control surveillance systems, control NAS aplications etc.)
  • Send Email
  • Send SMS

Possibility to add entry level kWh.

Mats Guldbrand 10 years ago updated 10 years ago 2
When uding the Energy Meter from Foogadget, there is a possibility to add the entry point kWh when installing it. It's normally done using the configuration scripts (i.e. TotalEnergi = Start_value + SUM(temp*10)/1000).

My suggestion is that on the settings page for sensors, add the "now" value for the electricity meter on the wall, to get the total consumption according to the electricity commpany rather than accumulated kWh from installation date.
